Shimmering refers to rather weak lighting sources, which nevertheless give a special character to the space. This year's edition of the festival will comprise both contemporary lighting technologies and vanishing lighting phenomena.

Lighting guerilla: Shimmering

After a few preliminary swings at the 2013 Exodos Festival and the Scarecrow project by Marko A. Kovačič and Brane Ždralo along the Path of Remembrance and Comradeship, this year's Lighting Guerrilla will turn on its lights at the already traditional locations in the city centre, as well as in both parts of Metelkova.

The City Museum and Galleries will be this year's producer of the Slovenian presentation in Venice. Blaž Peršin, director, took the role of the commissioner while project leadership and the assistant commissioner's position taken by Marija Skočir who, in the context of MGML, also heads the Vžigalica and Jakopič galleries.
