Online presentation of the open call Photography Empowers
5 April at 5 p.m.
On the occasion of the exhibition of the socially engaged photographer Susan Meiselas, the Jakopič Gallery announces an open call Photography Empowers for participation in a masterclass for photographers and visual storytellers working with communities. Anyone who would like to know more about the masterclass, both in terms of the eligibility requirements and what kind of community engagement projects we are looking for, is invited to an online presentation on wednesday 5 April at 5 p.m.
We will be joined by our tutors - socially engaged photographer and Magnum Photos member Susan Meiselas and renowned photography experts Lydia Matthews and Luciana Pinchiero, as well as the head of Jakopič Gallery, Dr. Marija Skočir.
Take the opportunity to listen to them before the open call closes and on 14 April 2023 to develop a more solid guideline for your application to the open call, which will select only up to 12 projects.
