Transformations around Ljubljana during the 18th Lighting Guerrilla Festival

We invite you to join us on Friday, 24 May 2024, at 9.30 p.m. in front of the Match Gallery for the opening of the 18th Lighting Guerrilla Festival: Transformations. During the festival (until 22 June) we encourage you to get a leaflet of this year's edition and explore the light installations around Ljubljana and visit the light installations in our gallery (until 1 September).
The theme of this year's Lighting Guerrilla edition is Transformations. The site-specific installations in public space, that you can admire during the festival, influence the transformation of the environment itself, turning it into spaces of boundless imagination and aesthetic contemplation.
In shaping the programme of the festival, the curators were interested in projects that use an authentic artistic language to address different aspects of transformation, both at the level of the form itself and in the context of space, or at the level of the spectator’s perception.
Join us to discover the beautiful, light-filled artworks of many Slovenian and international artists around Ljubljana.
The opening is part of the programme of the Ljubljana Art Weekend.
