On Saturday 2 December, TV Slovenia is broadcasting Contemplating Plečnik
With 2017 being Plečnik Year, TV Slovenia collaborated with art historian and writer Noah Charney and the end result is the feuilleton entitled Contemplating Plečnik. You can watch it on Saturday 2 December at 5.20 p.m. on TV Slovenia's first channel.
The 25-minute feuilleton Contemplating Plečnik will present the architect Jože Plečnik through the eyes of American art historian and writer Noah Charney, who visited Slovenia as a tourist in 2000, finished his doctorate on Plečnik, fell in love with a Slovenian girl, and created a life for himself in Kamnik. We will discover the works made by the maestro, who gave his indelible mark on the Slovenian capital and Kamnik. Charney and the TV team also paid a visit to the Plečnik House.
